* As the temperature of a Regulator Increases, the risk
of failure Increases – If the regulator gets too hot it will fail.
* When installed with a good battery with a 7 amp load a CE-540 will put out about 14.5 – 15.5 volts.
* Without a battery or with a flat battery the voltage will run higher.
* If using a small battery in a Wrap-around oil tank best to use a CE-540L
